Commercial

Workplace Foothills

FOOTHILLS, COLORADO.

PROJECT INFO
Type: 4-Story Office Building

Size: 105,000 SF

ARCHITECTURE FIRM
Hassell

ROLE
Architect

Part of a larger suburban mall transformation, the office building features a full mass timber structure with three levels of flexible office space above a ground floor of retail and an office lobby. The facade follows the structural grid, creating a clean and ordered rhythm while keeping the design practical and grounded. Sustainability guided key design decisions from the start, including daylight and energy analyses to optimize window placement and skylight strategy.

Contribution
Developed the design from concept through schematic phase, including client presentations and drawings set. Conducted massing studies to inform the design decisions like facade design, structural grid, MEP routing options in collaboration with consultants.

grade end of trip facilities; adding new rooftop spaces for both gathering and individual reflection; and moving from an ad hoc approach to tenancies to a modular turnkey system.

FLINDERS GROUND PLANE

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

PROJECT INFO
Type: Office Lobby Ground Plane Renovation

Size: 64,580 SF

ARCHITECTURE FIRM
Hassell

ROLE
Architect

A key new project in the west end of the CBD, this project seizes a unique opportunity to connect two prominent
streets, Flinders Lane and Collins Street, while fostering a more collaborative and engaging environment. The
new ground floor lobby design rethinks the purpose of the office lobby as a community engagement space by
providing a variety of spaces and settings for work and leisure that brings tenants and neighbors down from the
office floors above.

The project re-imagines the ground plane for 567 Collins and 522 Flinders by creating an interconnected lobby
experience and external connections that reference Melbourne’s lively laneway culture. Previously a service
lane between two buildings, now it is a highly engaging central space, which is flooded with natural light from a
series of skylights above. Additionally, multiple standalone timber pods, across the lobby area, host existing and new
program, such as retail, end-of-trip facilities and tenant-oriented business support spaces.

Contribution
Prepared detailed feasibility studies developing proposals, 3D model, graphics and drawings. Coordinating with cost consultant to provide realistic design proposals.

Urban Design & Master Planning

Google North Bayshore Master Plan

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA

PROJECT INFO
Type: Google NBS Campus Master plan

Size: 153 acres

ARCHITECTURE FIRM
Hassell

ROLE
Architect

The Google North Bayshore Master Plan transforms the company’s headquarters into a sustainable live-work neighborhood, combining smart urban development with a nature-focused open space network. It includes 7,000 housing units across 55 mixed-use sites, aiming to restore ecological health and ensure long-term resilience.

Contribution
I was an integral part of the team, contributing to key deliverables such as design objectives, housing yield analysis, master planning maps, and individual block exhibits. My role involved identifying planning challenges and opportunities, refining them into clear narratives for client presentations. I developed massing studies while evaluating their impact on housing yield, street composition, and fire access requirements and vice versa. I also led the preparation of 55 detailed block exhibits, coordinating closely with civil consultants to align them with the latest VT maps.
